Austin Energy will be trimming trees under power lines in this area. AE says it will contact property owners prior to trimming and that owners have several options regarding the proposed work. This kind of trimming has been a source of controversy in the past due to the indelicate and unaesthetic nature of the trims. Please familiarize yourself with your options and keep an eye out for the notice. If you live near an elderly or out-of-town homeowner with big trees under power lines, you may want to help make sure they know their options.
